  • 24 young people from six countries, including Senegal, chosen from more than 600 applicants.
  • 12 weeks to design a solution to a local problem, often using AI.
  • Final in Abidjan on 19 September, with $12,000 in prizes.

The Yango group, a digital services company based in Dubai, brought together in 2026 24 young people selected from more than 600 applicants, from six countries: Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Zambia, Senegal, Ethiopia and Mozambique.

For 12 weeks, participants worked in teams mixing several countries. After workshops on entrepreneurship, innovation and financial management, they identified an everyday problem, carried out their research, and designed a solution, a business model and a prototype, with a significant role for applied artificial intelligence.

The topics chosen speak to everyone: paying for informal buses, finding remote work, organising waste collection. The final took place on 19 September 2026 in Abidjan, with $12,000 in prizes at stake.

Launched in Zambia in 2024, the programme expanded to two countries in 2025, then to six this year.
